Fisker has teased its Ocean electric SUV for years, but on Wednesday at the Los Angeles Auto Show, the public finally got a good look at the vehicle.

The company had revealed pre-production prototypes previously with a solar roof, recycled plastics, and “California mode” windows, but for the first time we saw what the car’s final design will look like. It’s supposed to start production next November in Austria.

Fisker also divulged more about different models and price points. We now know there’ll be a basic version called the Fisker Ocean Sport for $37,499. The next level up is the Ocean Ultra for $49,999, and then the Ocean Extreme premium edition for $68,999. The first 5,000 Ocean Extreme cars will be branded as the Ocean One.

The Sport version will have a 250-mile range, the Ultra will boost up to 340 miles, and the Extreme and One versions will travel more than 350 miles on a single charge. On the premium versions, the SolarSky roof is expected to add 2,000 miles of range over the course of a year.

The basic Sport will go from 0 to 60 mph in 6.9 seconds, while the other versions are zippier. The Extreme goes from 0 to 60 mph in only 3.6 seconds.

When it comes to competitors, the premium versions of the Tesla Model Y and Ford Mustang Mach-E start at $63,990 and $61,000, respectively, with respective ranges of 303 and 305 miles.

Inside the Ocean, the 17.1-inch Revolve screen rotates from portrait mode while driving to horizontal “Hollywood mode” while parked. “It just rotates,” CEO Henrik Fisker said during a live demo. There’s also a Fisker-designed advanced driver assistance system and sound system.

Before the auto show premiere, CEO Fisker gave a sneak peek of the production-ready car at the pier in Manhattan Beach, California, where the company’s headquarters are located.

At the sunset reveal while standing next to Manhattan Beach mayor Hildy Stern, Fisker said, “It’s important to make a super cool vehicle that’s accessible to everyone.”

The car is available for pre-order at the Fisker website and comes in 14 different colors. Fisker said there are already 19,000 reservations.
